The Princely Palace of Monaco is a private residence of the Head of State whose Great Apartments are open to visitors for part of the year.

Its origins date back to the early 13th century, in 1215.

The Prince Honore II will join together there very rich collections of works of art, unfortunately disappeared during the French revolution during which the Palate was plundered and was used as hospital for the troops of the Army of Italy.

This mythical place, founded and inaugurated in 1865 by François Blanc, belongs to the Society des bains de mer de Monaco.
